The art department at Mt. Vernon High School is proud to invite you to the “End of the Year Art Show” compliments of Andy and Katie Lane at the Root Art Center.  As the students end another successful school year full of accomplishments and creativity, they would like to share their masterpieces with family, friends, and teachers.  So please come and see the vast variety of student artwork encompassing categories of painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.  This is a juried show with cash prizes donated by Psi Iota Xi.  Opening night is Friday May 22nd from 6:00-8:30 and the art club will be there to greet you with snacks and beverages.  If you cannot make opening night the artwork will be up until Thursday the 28th.
