Sarah Weinstock, a Columbus artist, is featured at Root Art Gallery for the month of May with an artist reception Fri., May 1st from 6-9pm. Weinstock’s work encompasses the push and pull between 2 or more objects/substances and the relationships that lie in the interactions.

A wall full of images dominates the space and invites the viewer to look deeper. To explore. To imagine. Drawings, paintings, photographs, among other pieces all engage in a visual conversation with one another, taking the viewer on a graphic journey from one end to the other and back again.

Weinstock currently lives in Columbus, OH and teaches at the OSU Main and Marion Campus. Since graduating with an MFA from OSU in 2006, she has shown her work numerous places throughout central Ohio. She continues to be active in the arts community in Columbus
